Argentina came from behind to secure a 29-18 victory over a dangerous Georgia side in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

Georgia led 12-9 at half-time in the one-off Test match, which came after Argentina had suffered consecutive losses against a weakened England team this month.

Full-back Martin Bustos Moyano kicked 24 points for Argentina with their only try coming in the closing stages from Tomas Cubelli.

For Georgia, full-back Beka Tsiklauri kicked 15 points from four penalties and a drop goal, while Lasha Malaguradze completed his side's scoring with another penalty after 72 minutes.

Argentina has rested 21 leading stars for their June Test matches, including players such as Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe and Juan Imhoff.

The Pumas have done so to preserve their best firepower for their next international action – in The Rugby Championship alongside world champions New Zealand, Australia and South Africa.
