Stormers lock Eben Etzebeth will not play in the 2014 Super Rugby tournament after sustaining another injury with a broken toe.

Etzebeth, who has been sidelined with a broken ankle, since the end of last season, is expected to be out of action for another two to three weeks.

This means that he will miss the Stormers' final two league matches against the Bulls and Sharks. The Stormers received some good news, however, as five other players have recovered from injuries.

Forwards Deon Fourie and Tiaan Liebenberg and backs Louis Schreuder, Juan de Jongh, Kobus van Wyk and Gio Aplon are all fit and will be considered for selection for Saturday's home clash against the Bulls.
