Italy have named uncapped fly-half Matteo Minozzi in their squad that is preparing to face France, replacing the injured Tommaso Allan.

Allan has been ruled out of the rest of the Six Nations with Calvisano playmaker Minozzi coming in ahead of next week’s Stadio Olimpico clash.

Italy currently sit on zero points in the standings after three successive losses and host France before travelling to Scotland in their last game.
