Patrick Osborne, Colin Slade and Matt Todd have been released from the All Blacks squad to play in Canterbury's final ITM Cup pre-season match.

Todd featured at openside flanks for the Cantabs in last week’s 50-33 point win against Wellington and will be joined this week by Osborne and Slade, who have not been included in the New Zealand team to face Australia on Saturday

Osborne and Slade will start at wing and full-back respectively while Todd has been named on the bench by Canterbury coach Scott Robertson.

Super Rugby-winning Highlanders speedster Osborne was called up by the All Blacks for the first time last week.
