Ackermann makes wholesale changes for Boland game

Golden Lions coach Johan Ackermann has rung the changes for his side's Currie Cup clash with Boland on Friday.

The Lions suffered a surprising defeat to Griquas last week which has prompted Ackermann to make significant changes to the team. 

There is a new front-row in Corné Fourie, Ramone Samuels and Pieter Scholtz while Ruan Ackerman moves from number eight to second-row and Martin Muller joining him as the lock pairing.

Ackermann has also picked a new back-row of Steph de Wit, Victor Sekekete and Ruaan Lerm.

In the backline, Dillon Smit and Marnitz Boshoff form the half-back pairing with Howard Mnisi and Jacques Nel at centre.
