Ackermann gets first start for Lions

Lions coach Johan Ackermann has named his son, Ruan, in his team's starting line-up for Saturday's Super Rugby clash with the Cheetahs in Johannesburg. 

Among the backs, Lionel Mapoe is returns at centre, while Andries Coetzee starts at full-back with Rohan Janse van Rensburg and Jaco van der Walt drop to the bench.

Up front, Ruan Ackermann gets his first start in the back row, replacing Warwick Tecklenburg who is serving one-week suspension.

Malcolm Marx returns at hooker in place of Robbie Coetzee while Dylan Smith is named at at loosehead prop ahead of Jacques van Rooyen.
