Tighthead prop Adam Jones is one of 13 Wales internationals heading to South Africa this summer.
The Ospreys star has been a regular for the country since making his debut as a replacement against England in 2003.
He proved an integral member of the Welsh Grand Slam winning side four years ago, starting each one of the games en route to glory.
Despite a disappointing 2007 World Cup campaign, Jones and his team-mates bounced back with a second Grand Slam for Wales in 2008.
Jones and his international colleague Gethin Jenkins, who has also made the touring party, have proved a formidable force spearheading the Welsh pack over the years.
And with the expectation that the tour could be won or lost in the forwards, the 28-year-old could well be a key figure in Ian McGeechan's squad.
