Euan Murray's performances as the cornerstone of the Scottish pack have earned him selection for a maiden Lions tour.
Euan Murray came through the Scotland age group sides before progressing to a Test debut in 2005.
The 28-year-old prop has steadily built a reputation as one of the best scrummagers around and travels to South Africa with the opportunity of establishing himself among the elite tighthead props in world rugby.
His game has continued to develop since his move south from Glasgow to Northampton although his 2008-09 season was somewhat disrupted by injury.
But Murray found his best form towards the end of the campaign, including a towering display against Italy in the Six Nations, to book his spot on the plane to South Africa.
