| British & Irish Lions | 3 | 14 |
The 31-year-old Scarlets fly-half is a veteran of 80 caps for Wales and has all the credentials to be the Lions starting No.10 in the Tests.
The former Wales skipper played in all three Lions Tests in New Zealand in 2005 and scored 16 points in the third Test.
He has been competing with Ospreys' James Hook for the Wales fly-half jersey this year, but got the nod ahead of Hook for the Lions tour.
With Ronan O'Gara also in the mix, the Lions have good options at stand-off.
Jones was used from the bench as an impact player in Wales' Six Nations campaign this year and he would look to be at least a substitute certainty for the Lions Test squad.
Prolific with the boot, only Neil Jenkins has scored more points for Wales.
Jones may be slightly past his peak but at the very least he can expect to play a cameo role in the Test matches on this Lions tour.
