Wales wing George North has praised the British and Irish Lions medical staff after he was named in the starting XV for Saturday's Test against Australia in Brisbane.
North was in superb form for the tourists before a hamstring injury - sustained in the Lions' 64-0 victory over a Combined Country XV -put his involvement in the Test series in doubt.
But despite missing the past two matches, North has been declared fit and he can't wait for Saturday's Test.
"It was all touch and go really but from minute one the support staff have been great," he told Sky Sports.
"I have put in a lot of hours and lot of rehab to get back here. It is awesome to be named in the Lions squad."
The 21-year-old said it is a "dream" to be included in a Lions Test side.
"Being named puts a smile on your face," he said.
"It is a dream come true.
"You start off as a young boy in your head playing for the Lions with the boys on the park but when it comes to it, it is a lot of hard work to get here.
"It has been an exceptionally long season for the boys so to finish off with a three-Test series is epic."
