Melbourne Rebels fly-half Kurtley Beale has been recalled to the Wallabies squad for the Test series with the British and Irish Lions.
The Australian Rugby Union confirmed in a tweet that Beale has rejoined the squad along with five others who will be confirmed on Tuesday.
Beale has been through a troubled Super Rugby season, having sat out for six weeks with a broken hand before being suspended for an alcohol-related incident with Rebels team-mates in Durban, before breaching behavioural guidelines after reappearing against the Chiefs.
Having now undergone a rehabilitation programme, Beale had been playing club rugby for Randwick before being reselected to play for the Wallabies.
Beale is now one of three potential options at fly-half alongside James O'Connor and Berrick Barnes.
Quade Cooper has not been so lucky, despite captaining the Reds in a spirited performance against the Lions in the warm-up match on Saturday.
