Lions: No Premiership fixture clash
Premiership Rugby have confirmed that the closing stages of the 2012/13 season won't clash with preparations for the British and Irish Lions' tour.
The fixtures for the 2013 Lions tour were released on Monday, with the side beginning their campaign with a clash against the Barbarians in Hong Kong on June 1.
It now appears there will be no serious tug-of-war between English clubs and Lions management with the announcement that the Premiership season will conclude on May 25.
"Premiership Rugby is delighted to see the new schedule for the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia, and to see the Lions go from strength-to-strength," said Premiership Rugby chief executive Mark McCafferty.
"The Lions are an important part of the rugby family. We are pleased to announce that the Aviva Premiership Rugby final in 2013 is staged on Saturday 25 May, before the Lions are due to depart for Australia so the tour party can all leave together."

Great news for the 4 or 5 Englishmen likely to make the squad.

Excuse me Planet Rugby but this is the 21st century, yet I can't find any mention of the England V New Zealand Womens match that was played on Saturday at Twickenham? So come on, put the cigar down, take off the smoking jacket, switch on that new fangled computer thing and GET TYPING!!!!!
