Wales and Cardiff Blues winger Alex Cuthbert has played down talk of a possible squad call for the British & Irish Lions tour to Australia in 2013.
The 22-year-old, who was one of the standout performers in Tests last season, has been the subject of plenty of Lions talk in the off-season.
Cuthbert though is adamant that his current focus will solely be on Cardiff Blues duty as he looks to back up last week's score against Edinburgh.
"It's every rugby player's dream to play for the Lions and obviously it's in a lot of people's minds," he told RaboDirectPRO12.com.
"But my main aim is just to play well for the Blues and get selected for the autumn Tests with Wales and play well then. If you play well for Wales, you never know what happens there. I don't want to look too far forward. I just need to play well and see how it goes.
"Phil (Davies) has been a breath of fresh air. He's brought in a new culture and way of playing rugby. Everyone is enjoying it.
"We've got a young team and the boys are progressing and playing well.
"We are playing the right brand of rugby. It's just putting it together and executing it."

@melkdave - never too early to speculate. Too early to predict possibly. Previous form is useful though (very useful actually), so based on that he's clearly a very strong contender. In my opinion, a certainty for the tour!

As ive said elsewhere ,its just to early to speculate on whos going to get a Lions call.We have no idea who is going to show consistent form, ect. Some players posters contenders havent even played a match yet. After the aurtum internationals is when trhe work will really begin, till then i think its a bit pointless speculating to be honest.
