Uganda is hosting six countries at a Confederation of African Rugby Under-19 tournament in Kampala. The winner will take part in the 2008 International Rugby Board's Under-20 World Championship in Wales.
The teams are divided into two groups:
Group 1: Zimbabwe, Morocco Namibia, Tunisia
Group 2: Uganda, Kenya, Côte d'Ivoire
Madagascar were to have taken part but withdrew.
The winner of Group 1 will play in the IRB's tournament. The winner of Group 2 will play in the Under-19 Africa Cup.
