Sale forward Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe has been named in the Pumas squad to play South Africa next month.

The one-off Test match in Johannesburg is part of the celebrations for Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday.

And Pumas Head Coach Santiago Phelan has been boosted by clearance to select the 26-year-old back-row after he was made available by the Sharks for the Mandela Tribute on August 9.

"The Union received a message from Sale Sharks and we can confirm Juan will travel to South Africa," said Argentinean Rugby Union spokesman Rafael Laria.
